Brooke trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, which is recognised for its’ high calibre of teaching staff and is one of the largest colleges of acupuncture in the UK. He practices the two most common styles of acupuncture in the UK, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture (TCM) and Five Element.
Practised together, both styles may bring about a higher level of well being physically, psychologically and emotionally.
Brooke is married to Sally, a Pilates & Zumba instructor, and has three young children (ages 7, 5 and 2). He is an avid member of the National Trust and likes to explore historical buildings and gardens with his family in his spare time.
With over ten years experience as an acupuncturist and twenty five years in the field of complementary medicine, Brooke brings a wide range of skills and knowledge to his clinical practice.
Brooke worked with the Older Peoples Unit at the Royal United Hospital, Bath between 2001 and 2007, using acupuncture alongside Parkinson's Disease patients. Changes in symptoms and quality of life factors in Parkinson’s sufferers were measured.
The study was funded by the Parkinson’s Disease Society, and results should be known in 2012.
Brooke works at clinics in Bath and Bradford on Avon. He has strong links with The Health Practice (Docters Surgery) in Bradford On Avon.
Brooke has also achieved recognition in both Western and Eastern Massage and holds a Diploma in Advanced Therapeutic Massage & Advanced Remedial Massage in Malaysian Massage.
