Women who undergo IVF increase their chances of pregnancy if they are treated with acupuncture, a new analysis suggests.

The benefits may be huge :
- a 65 per cent increase in the chance of becoming pregnant
- a 91 % increase in the number of live births.
- an 87 % increase in continuing the pregnancy

The seven trials were carried out in four western countries involved 1366 women.

This is great news for women having assisted fertility treatment such as IVF, ICSI, IUI, Egg or Sperm donation.
